Hotelbeds Group‘s new global partnership with Big Bus Tours is helping the business towards its ambitious target announced at last year’s WTM London – to triple sales in its tours and activities business.
The group is best known as a supplier of B2B accommodation to online and offline agents, tour operators and airlines through its Hotelbeds and BedsOnline brands. It has access to 120,000 hotels and sells rooms through some 35,000 retailers.
Its Tours and Activities Bank (TAB) is growing in importance as the demand for in-destination content grows. Big Bus Tours is a significant partner and is the largest privately owned operator of open-top sightseeing tours in the world.
Big Bus provides sightseeing tours in 19 cities across four continents, and offers its services in up to 26 languages. It also operates walking tours, boat cruises and attraction packages.
